Story #7- The Heist

Boe also submits the photograph for this next story. I am adding in a challenge of my own.

Heist

 PARAGRAPH:

You must have realized this of course. You must have known the consequences. A jewel too heavy for someone’s hand is far too heavy for their heart. There are some things made for no one. This is one of them. And now you will forever know it. And now you cannot undo what has happened. I will haunt your name for all eternity. I will never let you or your children’s children’s children forget the feeling of cold stone on your skin and blood in your mouth. You will never forget this day. Thus the diamond spoke to him.

THREE SENTENCES:

A curse is both an unfortunate thing to ignore, and an unfortunate thing to inherit. But to steal a curse? That is the worst thing of all.

TWO SENTENCES:

A diamond is not a friend, but an enemy. A large diamond in particular is a toxic rival.

ONE SENTENCE:

The worst mistake he ever made in all his life was the decision to steal the blue diamond.

FIVE WORDS:

There is no going back.

FOUR WORDS:

Diamonds taste of blood.

THREE WORDS:

The false jewel.

TWO WORDS:

Heist awry.

ONE WORD:

Tainted.
